I have been an experimental artist on the South Coast of England for over twenty years.
Currently my art covers two disciplines -
I make bright and bold, fun paper cut illustrations for children and statement gold leaf mixed media abstract paintings for grown ups. My work has been described as fearless, expressive and beautiful. Inspired by nature (in particular the coast and sky) my works of art have impact and make a statement in any room.
I showcase my work throughout the year locally in West Sussex and Hampshire and can be seen in PO10 in Emsworth, the Chichester Art Trail, the Oxmarket Gallery in Chichester and at Stansted Park in Rowlands Castle.
I use many different mediums, in particular acrylic and gold leaf with palette knives to get a beautiful texture and I enjoy the freedom I have when using these tools. I also love to use Indian ink and watercolour on Khadi paper. When I'm making illustrations for children I use paper cutout collage.
I am lucky to live on the South Coast of England and love to be by the sea. Most of my inspiration comes when I'm walking my dog at low tide.
